Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist Primary school in Oldbury to recruit a PPA Cover Teacher. The role is part-time and long-term with an immediate start, covering Planning, Preparation and Assessment time.

The successful candidate will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain classroom management and ensure continuity of learning for pupils with PMLD. QTS and primary experience are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS and qualified to teach in a Primary setting.
• Experience delivering lessons across the Primary curriculum.
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment time.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage the class effectively.
• Ensure continuity of learning for pupils with PMLD.
