Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist Primary school in Oldbury, seeking a PPA Cover Teacher for a part-time, long-term role with an immediate start. You will provide classroom cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment time, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining continuity for pupils with PMLD.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and have experience in Primary education, with strong behaviour management and an adaptable, positive approach.

Qualifications

• QTS certification is required.
• Experience teaching in a Primary school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and additional learning needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum.
• Patient, adaptable and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons during teachers' PPA time.
• Provide consistent classroom cover and maintain learning continuity.
• Create a positive learning environment for pupils with PMLD.
