Job summary

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist Primary school in Oldbury supporting pupils with PMLD. The school is looking to take on a PPA Cover Teacher on a part-time, long-term basis with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will provide classroom cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment time, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing the classroom effectively and ensuring continuity of learning for pupils with PMLD.

Qualifications

• QTS and primary teaching experience
• Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and additional learning needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment time
• Deliver pre-planned lessons
• Manage the classroom effectively
• Ensure continuity of learning for pupils with PMLD
