Job summary

Gibson Technology is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Engineering and Performance Powertrain) to lead engineering-focused projects in a motorsports context. You will plan, coordinate and deliver cross‑functional initiatives, balancing scope and budget while maintaining stakeholder alignment.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering & Projects, you will drive collaboration, monitor progress and manage risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience leading projects, preferably within engineering/technical environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage projects from initiation to completion, defining scope, objectives, budgets, timelines and risk mitigation to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, working closely with technical leads to drive collaboration and accountability.
• Oversee project delivery by monitoring progress, budgets and schedules, resolving issues to keep projects on track.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing clear communication and updates.
• Coordinate and optimise use of people, tools, materials and external suppliers to deliver projects efficiently.
• Ensure projects are completed to required quality, on time and within scope.
