Job summary

Gibson Technology Limited is seeking a proactive LMP2 Track Support Assistant Manager to join our Customer Relations team. The role blends administrative coordination with hands-on trackside engineering to support our LMP2 program at global events.

You will assist the Track Support Manager with daily coordination, data analysis of logged engine data, and second-level mechanical support while collaborating with senior engineers and external stakeholders. A structured training pathway is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-performance motorsport environment or related workshop/trackside roles.
• Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of race engine assemblies.
• Familiarity with motorsport data acquisition software and engine calibration principles.
• Experience with inventory management, logistics, or customs documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks for track support and manage department workflow.
• Serve as a communication link across Engine Build, Dyno/Calibration, Electrical, Stores, Commercial, and Admin.
• Assist in event preparations, engine rotation schedules, spare parts inventory, and shipping docs.
• Provide on-site technical support to LMP2 race team clients and engage with race teams and event organisers.
• Analyse logged engine data to evaluate operating conditions and feedback insights to teams and internal engineers.
• Support trackside operations across global events and assist with second-level mechanical issues.
