Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in Warrington is seeking a Depot Based Powered Access Engineer to service, refurbish and repair our powered access equipment. You will ensure the equipment is safe, reliable and ready for hire, working as part of a team to meet Customer Excellence.

You will be based at our Warrington site with a focus on health and safety, fault finding, and diagnosing issues, with opportunities for training and career progression within Speedy.

Qualifications

• Ideally CAP registered, but not required as Speedy will invest in getting you to the next level.
• Experience on powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG.
• Experience estimating repairs with attention to detail.
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics.
• Able to read electrical / hydraulic drawings and understand both systems.
• Previous engineering experience within powered access.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment.
• Ensure customers are using safe and reliable equipment so that Speedy can deliver customer excellence.
• Based at the Warrington site, work with a team of Engineers to refurbish, check and ensure health and safety before hire.
