Job summary

Speedy Group in Bristol is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service, refurbish and repair powered access equipment at customer sites across Bristol and surroundings. You will attend emergency breakdowns and scheduled maintenance to ensure safe, reliable equipment for customers along with a strong focus on service excellence.

The role requires reading electrical/hydraulic drawings and prior powered access engineering experience, with CAP registration preferred and opportunities to

Qualifications

• CAP registration preferred
• Experience on powered access equipment (Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG) is a plus
• Experience estimating repairs with attention to detail
• Fault finding and diagnostics experience
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic drawings and understand both systems
• Engineering background in powered access
• Support ESG initiatives (Decade to Deliver)

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment at customer sites.

Mobile Powered Access Engineer

Bristol and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered access equipment based at our customer’s sites. We offer our customers the highest level of care, therefore this role will involve attending emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance. You will ensure that our customers are using safe and reliable equipment so that they can count on us to deliver customer excellence.

What you’ll need:

• Ideally be CAP registered
• Previous experience in working on powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG would be an advantage
• Experience in estimating repairs to be carried out with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
• Able to read electrical / hydraulic drawings, understanding both systems
• Previous engineering experience within powered access
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
