Job summary

Speedy Powered Access, part of The Speedy Group, is seeking a Depot Engineering Manager to lead the Erith depot’s engineering team. You will oversee service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of the powered access fleet, ensuring safety and efficiency while supporting the team and customers.

The role requires CAP registration, 5+ years in powered access, and experience with major brands. Competitive benefits and career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• CAP registered and minimum 5 years experience in powered access
• Full UK Driving Licence required
• Experience with Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, Haulotte and JLG machines
• Ability to estimate repairs with attention to detail
• Fault finding and diagnostics experience
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic drawings and understand both systems
• Responsible for fleet compliance and readiness for hire
• Ability to manage time and prioritize daily workload

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Powered Access Service Engineers on a day-to-day basis
• Deliver an excellent service to customers via repairs, maintenance and servicing of the fleet
• Provide technical assistance and support to the team and customers

Skills
