Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc is seeking an Engineer - Powered Access at Warrington, Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00 (45 hours per week). You will be based at our site, responsible for service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment to ensure safety and reliability for customers.

You will work with a team of engineers, reading drawings, diagnosing faults, estimating repairs, and supporting ESG goals.

Qualifications

• CAP registration is preferred but not required.
• Experience working on powered access equipment (Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG).
• Experience estimating repairs with attention to detail.
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment.
• Ensure safety and reliability of equipment for customers.
• Work with the depot team to refurbish and check kits before hire.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and ESG goals.
