Speedy Group in Wellington is seeking an experienced Powered Access Engineer to join the depot team. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, servicing, repairing and refurbishing our powered access fleet to keep equipment safe and reliable for customers.

You will work with an experienced engineering team to uphold high standards, perform fault finding across electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. DBS/clearance may be required for certain roles.

Qualificações

• Experience with powered access equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Completing refurbishment work and preparing equipment to go back on hire.
• Carrying out inspections and identifying required repairs.
• Accurately estimating repair requirements.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic drawings.
• Ensuring equipment meets required safety and quality standards.
• Completing relevant service and maintenance documentation.
• Working closely with the wider depot team to ensure equipment is available when our customers need it.
• Maintaining a safe, organised and professional workshop environment.
