Job summary

Speedy Hire in Wellington is seeking a Powered Access Engineer to service, repair and maintain powered access equipment at our Wellington depot. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, carry out inspections and maintenance, and ensure equipment is safe and ready for customers.

You will work with leading brands and contribute to high uptime. The role offers training, progression and a benefits package including pension, health plan and well-being support.

Qualifications

Experience in Powered Access, Plant or a similar engineering environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Full UK driving licence.
CAP registration would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment at our Wellington depot.
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
Carrying out inspections, repairs and planned maintenance.
Working with leading brands including Genie, JLG, Skyjack and Niftylift.
Keeping equipment safe, reliable and ready for our customers.
