Speedy Hire Plc. in Wellington is seeking a hands-on Powered Access Engineer to join our depot team.
You will service, repair and refurbish our powered access fleet, diagnose faults, read electrical/hydraulic drawings and ensure equipment meets safety standards. This permanent role offers a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a focus on safe operations, accurate documentation and teamwork with the depot staff.

We're looking for an experienced Powered Access Engineer to join our team at our Wellington depot.
This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, repairing and refurbishing our powered access fleet, ensuring our equipment is safe, reliable and ready for our customers.
Working alongside our experienced engineering team, you’ll take responsibility for maintaining our powered access equipment to the highest standards.
You’ll ideally have previous engineering experience working with powered access equipment and be confident fault finding across electrical and hydraulic systems.
Experience working with manufacturers such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG would be particularly useful.
CAP registration would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. If you have the right engineering experience and attitude, we'll support your development and invest in helping you progress to the next level.
