Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is looking for a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service, repair and inspect a range of powered access equipment across the North West. You will perform LOLER inspections, fault-finding, diagnostics and on-site support to customers, with regular reporting on service outcomes and maintenance actions.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills, a valid UK driving licence, and IPAF certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills.
• Experience with powered access or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• IPAF qualification, or willingness to obtain.
• LOLER experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

Mobile Powered Access Engineer

Up to £52,000 + Guaranteed Overtime + £1,200 Bonus + Van & Fuel Card | North West

The Role

You'll be field-based across the North West, servicing, repairing and inspecting a wide range of powered access equipment, including MEWPs, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, mast lifts and telehandlers.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Powered Access Engineer, Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Heavy Plant Fitter with:

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills
• Experience with powered access or similar equipment
• Full UK driving licence
• IPAF qualification, or willingness to obtain
• LOLER experience is desirable
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service
