SER (Staffing) Ltd is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join their team in Derby, covering the East Midlands region. The role involves servicing and repairing powered access machinery, with a 42.5-hour week and opportunities for overtime.

You will travel across the East Midlands to service machinery, diagnose faults, and ensure health and safety compliance. A full UK driving license and relevant qualifications are required; the role comes with a company van, fuel card and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with powered access machinery or similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Full UK driving license.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the East Midlands to service and repair powered access machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs as required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Communicate with customers to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work and parts used.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion.
