Job summary
Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a leading powered access specialist to recruit a Powered Access Engineer for the Kent/South East region. You will service, repair and inspect a wide range of MEWPs, scissor lifts, cherry pickers and more, with overtime and a company van provided.
The role requires hands-on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills, IPAF, and a full UK driving licence. You will travel across the South East delivering excellent customer service and high-quality reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical skills.
- Experience with powered access or similar equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- IPAF qualification, or willingness to obtain.
- LOLER experience is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding.
- LOLER inspections.
- Diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
- Customer site visits and technical support.
- Accurate service and inspection reporting.
