Job summary

Experis Austria partners with a leading engineering consultancy to recruit Senior and Principal Power Systems Engineers for Manchester and London. You will design, analyse and deliver complex power systems for hyperscale data centres and critical infrastructure.

Hybrid work with three days in the office. You will lead technical delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers while advancing chartership and professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng, MEng or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership.
• Strong experience in power systems design and analysis.
• Background in data centres, critical infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy or similar complex environments.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing client relationships.
• Proficiency with industry tools including ETAP, SKM, DIgSILENT PowerFactory or equivalent modelling packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex power systems and substation projects from concept through delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage technical risk, quality, and schedule.
• Conduct load flow studies, short circuit analysis, arc flash assessments, and transient studies.
• Build strong client relationships and support technical reviews and design decisions.
• Contribute to successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Are you an experienced Power Systems Engineer looking to work on some of the most complex and high-profile data centre and critical infrastructure projects in the industry?

We're partnering with a leading engineering consultancy that is expanding its specialist Power Systems team and is looking to appoint several Senior and Principal Power Systems Engineers across Manchester and London.

Hybrid working with an expectation of three days per week in the office.
