Job summary

Leap29 is partnering with an international consultancy to recruit a Power System Engineer for London. You will contribute to the design of data centres from hyperscale campuses to critical infrastructure, with hybrid work from the London offices.

The role requires a degree in Electrical engineering, Chartered Engineer status, and proven power system design/analysis experience with ETAP, SKM, DigSILENT, or POWERFactory, ideally within the data centre sector.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical field or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status with a recognised institution.
• Experience in Power System design.
• Experience in Power system analysis.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, DigSILENT, POWERFactory or similar softwares.
• Experience within the Data Centre industry or critical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Job description

My Client is an international Consultancy who specialise in Data Centre design and construction.

Due to expansion, they are currently searching a Power System Engineer to support the team in London for the design of various Data Centres. The Power system Engineer will be directly employed by my Client on a permanent basis.

The Power system engineer will be involved in the design of global Data Centres from hyperscale campuses and colocation facilities to critical infrastructure facilities. You will have the opportunity to work hybrid from the the London offices.

The Power system Engineer is required to:

• Have a degree in the Electrical field or related discipline
• Have Chartered Engineering status with a recognised institution
• Experience in Power System design
• Experience in Power system analysis
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, DigSILENT, POWERFactory or similar softwares
• Experience within the Data Centre industry or critical infrastructure projects
