Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR in the UK is seeking a Manager – Engineering (Power Station Integration) to lead the delivery of the power station level design and integration. You will coordinate across engineering functions, suppliers and stakeholders to establish an integrated, safe and cost-effective power station solution.

The role is hybrid with regular attendance at offices in Manchester, Warrington or Derby and requires strong systems thinking, MBSE experience and a proven track record in complex

Qualifications

• Leading multidisciplinary engineering work packages to deliver integrated power station design.
• Experience delivering complex engineering projects with regulated environments.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
• Exposure to MBSE tools such as Capella and Arcadia is advantageous.
• Understanding of power generation, nuclear or complex infrastructure environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering work packages to deliver an integrated power station design.
• Drive system integration and design decision-making to satisfy requirements and objectives.
• Manage complex interfaces between systems, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Apply systems engineering methods and optioneering for evidence-based decisions.
• Develop delivery plans, forecasts and risk management inputs with project controls.
• Influence senior stakeholders to balance priorities for optimal power station outcomes.
• Ensure top-level requirements flow down to lower-tier systems and governance.
