Job summary

Würth Elektronik eiSos in Manchester, UK, seeks a Product Definition Engineer (m/f/d) to bridge technology and market needs. You will position WE components in reference designs, support partners with application expertise, and contribute market input to development.

You will visit semiconductor partners across the UK and Ireland and occasionally travel to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia to strengthen collaborations and drive design-in success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills in an international setting.
• Interest/experience in power electronics and/or magnetics desired.
• Willingness to travel within the region and collaborate across countries.

Responsibilities

• Position WE components in reference designs and evaluation boards of leading semiconductor companies.
• Deliver technical training and create technical materials (AppNotes, webinars, demos).
• Gather market input from partner interactions to inform product development.
• Benchmark power supply boards and report findings; may cover EMC and layout topics.
• Work with colleagues in Germany, France, and globally to coordinate activities.
