Job summary

Würth Elektronik eiSos in Manchester seeks a Product Definition Engineer (m/f/d) for the UK, Ireland & Northern Europe. The role combines field-based partner engagement with hands-on product integration and technical training across leading semiconductor partners.

You will travel regionally, drive reference designs, deliver training, and contribute to global product development in an international context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (or comparable).
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong interest in power electronics and magnetics.
• Fluent English in international environment.

Responsibilities

• Visit semiconductor partners across the UK & Ireland and travel to nearby regions.
• Drive integration of WE components into reference designs and evaluation boards.
• Deliver technical training and create AppNotes, webinars, demos, and online content.
• Gather product gap intelligence and feed findings into product development.
• Benchmark power supply boards and prepare structured reports; topics may include EMC or layout optimization.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Germany, France, USA and Asia.
