JBT Marel is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth in the poultry processing solutions market. You will be the primary contact for customers, engaging face-to-face at events, demos, and client sites to understand needs and tailor Marel's offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
• 3 years of outside B2B sales of technical/mechanical systems with international exposure.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, and partners.
• Help establish and implement a regional industry market plan.
• Drive sales of complex solutions and expand market share.
• Support and train Account Managers with in-depth process knowledge.
• Achieve sales targets and optimal pricing while meeting customer needs.
• Manage visit reports, opportunity registration, and CRM data.
• Monitor competitors and market developments.
• Meet KPI goals for sales and margins.
• Be motivated, outgoing, and able to work without heavy supervision.
• Analyze customer processes and advise improvements.
• Strong communication with customers and partners at all levels.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
