Job summary

Noble Foods Home of the Happy Egg Co. is seeking an Assistant Farm Manager to support daily operations on a laying-bird rearing farm.

You will work with the Farm Manager to maintain bird health, welfare, production targets and biosecurity, guiding farm staff to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality pullets. Responsibilities include monitoring flock performance, assisting with vaccination and feed management, and maintaining accurate records for audits.

Qualifications

• Understanding of poultry husbandry, nutrition, ventilation and disease management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• High attention to detail and record accuracy.
• Understanding of biosecurity and animal welfare standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pullet rearing stages: brooding, growing, and pre‑lay.
• Monitor bird health, behaviour, uniformity and performance indicators.
• Ensure correct feed, water, lighting, ventilation and space according to standards.
• Assist in vaccination, medication and flock health monitoring programmes.
• Uphold strict biosecurity and hygiene practices across farm areas.
• Assist with production planning and pullet transfers; ensure age/weight specs.
• Maintain accurate daily records for audits and inspections.
