Noble Foods Home of the Happy Egg Co. is seeking an Assistant Farm Manager to support the Farm Manager in day-to-day operations of a busy egg-laying poultry site. You will help ensure bird health, welfare, and egg production are maintained to high standards across multiple houses.

The role involves coordinating staff, monitoring performance data, and ensuring strict welfare and biosecurity compliance. Salary ranges from £32,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Assistant Farm Manager supports daily farm operations to maintain bird health, welfare, and egg production.
• Coordinates team activities and monitors performance data.
• Ensures compliance with welfare and biosecurity standards.
• Produces accurate records of egg production, flock performance, and feed usage.

Responsibilities

• Flock Management and Egg Production.
• Support the monitoring of hen health, welfare, and productivity.
• Assist in tracking daily egg production, mortality, feed intake, and weight gain.
• Help ensure optimal lighting, ventilation, temperature, and environmental conditions within poultry houses.
• Assist with vaccination and disease prevention programmes.
• Biosecurity and Animal Welfare: enforce procedures to reduce disease risk.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: collect and maintain accurate records.
