Job summary

Noble Foods Ltd is seeking a Farm Operative to support the daily running of an egg-laying poultry farm. You will monitor flock health, assist with egg collection and recording, and help maintain welfare, hygiene and biosecurity across poultry houses.

The role involves working around poultry houses, following farm procedures, and contributing to production targets while maintaining high welfare standards. Training and safety are priorities.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a farm environment, on your feet for long periods.
• Works well within a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for layer hens and monitor health and welfare.
• Follow biosecurity procedures and maintain cleanliness in poultry houses.
• Assist with daily egg collection, recording production figures.
• Carry out routine cleaning of equipment, walkways, nest boxes and egg belts.
• Record egg numbers, mortality and other daily data using logs or digital tools.
• Carry out basic equipment checks and routine maintenance tasks.
• Participate in site management and range maintenance as directed.
