Job summary

Noble Foods, Home of the Happy Egg Co., is seeking a Farm Operative to support the daily running of our egg-laying poultry farm near Seighford, England. You will help maintain bird health, maximise egg production, and ensure high welfare, hygiene and biosecurity standards while working in and around poultry houses.

You will monitor flocks, assist with egg collection and recording production figures, and help maintain lighting, ventilation, and temperature controls.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a farm environment, on your feet for long periods.
• Works well within a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Flock Care and Egg Production: assist with daily care of hens and monitor birds for illness or changes.
• Biosecurity and Animal Welfare: follow biosecurity procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Feed and Nutrition Management: check feed levels and ensure systems function.
• Farm Hygiene and Cleaning: conduct routine cleaning of equipment and areas.
• Record Keeping and Reporting: accurately record egg numbers and data.
• Site management and maintenance: carry out whole site maintenance as directed by farm management.
