Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Enniskillen. You will sort letters and parcels at the delivery office, then deliver by van and on foot in your local area. The role involves outdoor work, customer interaction, and working on a rotating schedule that includes some weekends.

The position offers a permanent contract, full training, a uniform, and a Royal Mail van. You will drive daily and pass a driving assessment, with a 32.5 hour week from Monday to Friday, 15:15–21:45,

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 32.5 hours per week – working 5 days Monday - Friday – 15:15/21:45*

What To Expect

This role is physically demanding and fast-paced:

• Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)
• Driving a Royal Mail van daily

About You

We'll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You'll need:

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
