Job summary

Royal College of Art is seeking an experienced Learning Development and Academic Literacies Coordinator to drive in-sessional learning development and academic communication for postgraduate students across the College.

You will lead planning and delivery of a comprehensive programme, collaborate with academic programmes and Schools, provide leadership to teaching staff and shape inclusive, high-quality resources and interventions that support student success and academic integrity.

Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline and a recognised teaching qualification.
Experience designing and delivering learning development and academic literacies for postgraduate learners.
Ability to lead staff and translate evidence into service and educational improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and delivery of a comprehensive in-sessional learning development programme.
Develop workshops, tutorials, embedded teaching, online resources and induction activities.
Provide leadership and direction to teaching staff, including line management of the In-Sessional Associate Lecturer.
Collaborate with Programme Leaders, School leadership, Library, Registry and Student Support to support student success and inclusion.
