Job summary

The University of Oxford's Radcliffe Department of Medicine invites applications for a post-doctoral Research Scientist in gene therapy, based at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. You will join the Gene Medicine Research Group to develop Lentiviral derived nanoparticles (LVNPs) aimed at treating rare diseases and to optimise scalable production and purification strategies.

Qualifications

• PhD or in-progress in gene therapy or a closely related field.
• Experience in gene delivery, cell culture and analytical techniques.
• Home Office licence with in vivo gene delivery experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Optimise LVNP production at scale, including purification and concentration testing.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team within the Gene Medicine Research Group.
• Contribute to translational research projects and ensure high standards of data quality.
