Job summary

Economics Network invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Oxford to develop cutting-edge genome editing methods as part of the MRC Centre for Therapeutic Genomics. The role focuses on building a bespoke platform for treating rare disease using genome editing technologies.

You will plan and carry out laboratory research, generate high-quality data for publication, and present findings at regular meetings, reporting to the group head.

Qualifications

• PhD (or submitted) in Haematology, Genome Editing or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience with complex genome editing and single cell genomics.
• Experience with murine transplantation models and flow cytometry.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform laboratory research on genome editing projects.
• Generate high-quality data and contribute to publications.
• Present data and ideas at regular meetings.
• Report progress to the Group Head; work independently and in a team.
