Job summary

The Institute of Cancer Research, Sutton, London, invites applications for a Post Doctoral Training Fellow in online adaptive radiotherapy modelling. Working under Professor Uwe Oelfke, you will contribute to the development and clinical implementation of real-time plan refinement on MR-Linac and other platforms at RMH/ICR collaboration.

The role emphasizes QA of real-time adapted RT, acceleration of automated planning, and collaboration with clinicians and industry partners.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Engineering or related field with experience in radiotherapy physics, optimisation algorithms or MR/MR-guided RT.
• Candidates nearing completion of their PhD may apply; must have awarded PhD within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a framework for dynamic plan refinement in real-time for MR-guided RT.
• Accelerate automated, on-line adaptive treatment planning.
• Devise QA strategies for real-time adapted RT.
• Collaborate with clinicians and industrial partners to demonstrate clinical benefits.
