Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced Clinical Technologist / Dosimetrist to join the Radiotherapy Physics team. You will play a key role in the provision of a technical/clinical service, primarily in treatment planning, across our multi-site operation.

The role offers flexible working arrangements and the option to be based at one of our satellites, with access to modern planning systems and QA processes, and opportunities to contribute to service

Qualifications

• Must be registered with RCT or HCPC and have significant demonstrable experience in treatment planning.
• Experience in Radiotherapy Physics treatment planning and QA.
• Experience with Varian systems (Halcyon, TrueBeam) and CT-sim, ARIA, Eclipse.

Responsibilities

• Lead provision of a technical/clinical service in Radiotherapy Physics, primarily in treatment planning.
• Provide expert advice to oncologists and radiotherapy staff on treatment planning issues.
• Train Radiotherapy staff in treatment planning techniques and QA, and help develop new techniques.
• Support commissioning, calibration and QA of radiotherapy equipment and software.
