Job summary

The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in Sutton, Greater London, invites applications for a post-doctoral training fellow focused on online adaptive radiotherapy. You will contribute to real-time plan refinement and QA on advanced platforms, collaborating with clinicians and industry partners.

The role offers a 36-month fixed-term contract with a starting salary of £48,429 per annum, subject to progression reviews and visa support where applicable.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience in radiotherapy physics, optimisation algorithms and/or MR imaging is preferred.
• PhD completion within 6 months may be acceptable for nearing candidates.]
• The ICR employment policy limits Postdoctoral Training Fellows to 7 years total experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a framework for dynamic plan refinement in real-time for MR-guided RT.
• Accelerate automated, on-line adaptive treatment planning and QA strategies for real-time adapted RT.
