Royal Mail is recruiting a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Oxford. You will sort mail at the delivery office, then deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot within the local area. The role involves outdoor work, daily routes, and a rotating shift schedule including weekends.

Full training is provided, along with a uniform and a red Royal Mail van. You will be required to work 1 Sunday every 5 weeks and adapt to changing daily routes based on demand.

Qualificações

• Full manual UK driving licence (current name/address) is required.
• Pass driving assessment if requested.
• Physically able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good time management.

Location: Oxford Delivery Office, OX1 1XX Job type: Permanent contract Salary: £** per hour * (paid monthly) + paid overtime available. Working hours: ** hours per week – working 5 days over 7, Monday - Sunday – 07:30/16:30* Looking for a delivery driver job where you can stay active, connected to your community, and enjoy great benefits? About you

We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van.

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)

• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances , climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
