Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Kidlington is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels on a rotating shift, mostly outdoors. The role requires a full manual UK driving licence and fitness to walk long distances. You’ll work 37 hours per week, including weekends, with overtime and a structured rota.

Job type: Permanentcontract

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.Working hours: 37.00hours per week - working 6days in 7 across Monday - Sunday, 1 in 5 weeks off - 06:45/15:30*

You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

You'll be required to work 1 in 5 Sundays at Kidlington Delivery Office from 07:30.

We'll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You'll need:

• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
