Job summary

Pertemps Bond is hiring temporary Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in Wolverhampton to support Royal Mail with daily deliveries. The role offers up to 30 hours per week, shifts 6am–2pm, Monday to Friday with weekend flexibility, and involves outdoor work and customer-facing tasks.

The position requires a full UK manual driving licence (preferably clean, with minimal penalty points) and the ability to lift up to 20 kg and walk several miles per day.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Preparation: Begin shifts at the local delivery office to accurately sort and load daily deliveries.
• Distribution: Deliver mail and parcels both by vehicle and on foot. This physical role involves walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Operations: Utilise a company handheld device for navigating routes and capturing customer signatures.
• Manual Handling: Safely lift and carry mail bags weighing up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, utilising delivery trolleys as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Licence: Must hold a valid, full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).
• Resilience: Ability to work comfortably outdoors across all weather conditions.
• Skills: Exceptional time management capabilities alongside a customer-first mindset.
• Experience: Prior delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
