Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting temporary Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers for Royal Mail in Dudley. The role is up to 30 hours per week, outdoors, customer‑facing and requires a valid UK manual licence.

Shifts run 8:30am–7pm, with some weekend flexibility and the ability to cover delivery routes by vehicle or on foot. This is a temporary, part‑time opportunity with active customer service duties.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare: Begin shifts at the local delivery office to sort and load daily deliveries.
• Distribute: Deliver mail and parcels by vehicle and on foot, walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Operate: Use a company handheld device for navigating routes and capturing customer signatures.
• Manual handling: Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg with trolleys as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Licence: Must hold a valid, full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (a clean licence is preferred).
• Resilience: Ability to work comfortably outdoors across all weather conditions.
• Skills: Exceptional time management capabilities alongside a customer-first mindset.
• Experience: Prior delivery or commercial driving experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
