Job summary

Pertemps, on behalf of Royal Mail, is seeking a Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver in Malvern to start immediately on a temporary, full-time basis. You will sort and load deliveries at the local office and navigate routes with a handheld device, delivering letters and parcels by foot or vehicle.

Shifts run 8:00–15:00, Monday to Friday with weekend availability, up to 35 hours per week. You’ll work outdoors independently with strong customer service skills in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

The Postal Delivery Driver position in Great Malvern, offered through Pertemps on behalf of Royal Mail, begins immediately on a temporary, full-time basis. Paying £13.69 per hour, this role involves up to 35 hours weekly, with shifts running from 8:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday plus weekend availability. You will commence each day at the local office, sorting and loading deliveries before navigating routes via a handheld device. Duties include delivering letters and parcels on foot or by vehicle, covering up to eight miles daily, and lifting mail bags. Strong customer service skills and comfort working outdoors independently are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred)
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
