Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Hereford is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail in the Hereford area. This temporary/ongoing role offers an immediate start, with shifts from 8am to 3pm, up to 35 hours per week and weekend availability.

You will deliver letters and parcels by foot or vehicle, load deliveries, and use a handheld device for signatures and navigation, while providing customer service outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max, clean licence preferred).
• Delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Hours: Up to 35 hours a week
