Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail in Banbury for a Postal Delivery Driver. You will start at the local delivery office, sort and load mail, and deliver on foot or by vehicle along a set route.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with weekend availability, shifts 08:00-16:00. A full UK manual driving licence and good customer service are required; training provided. Outdoor work in all weather conditions, with lifting duties up to 16–20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.

• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Shift pattern includes Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail with the recruitment of a Postal Delivery Driver in Banbury. This temporary position offers £13.69 per hour for a 40-hour week, with shifts running from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday plus weekend availability. You will begin each day at the local delivery office, sorting and loading your assigned mail. Using a handheld device for navigation and proof of delivery, you will cover a set route on foot and by vehicle, walking up to eight miles daily.

The role involves lifting mail bags and parcels weighing up to 16kg. Candidates should enjoy working outdoors independently and possess a strong customer service focus.
