Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting for a Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver (Temporary) in Witney. You’ll work 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday with weekend availability required, and shifts from 10:00am to 18:00pm. The role supports Royal Mail with multi-drop deliveries, requiring active outdoor work and strong customer service.

Daily workload includes loading, walking, and driving to complete deliveries. Ideal candidates hold a full UK driving licence and are comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence (maximum of 6 points; clean preferred).
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous driving/delivering experience would be great but isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Load & Go: start your day at the local delivery office, sorting and loading your vehicle.
• On the Move: deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day.
• Tech-Savvy Delivery: use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
• Hands-On Work: lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg) as needed.
