Job summary

Pertemps in Wembley is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail operations in Wembley Highs. You will load and sort at the local delivery office, then deliver letters and parcels by foot and by vehicle, with shifts from 08:30 to 14:30 and a Monday to Friday schedule, plus weekend availability.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence (up to six points, clean preferred), willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and excellent time management with strong customer

Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving licence (maximum of 6 points; clean preferred).
• Comfortable working outdoors through rain, shine, or snow.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Previous Driving/ Delivering experience would great (but isn’t essential!)

Responsibilities

• Load & Go: Start your day at the local delivery office sorting and loading your vehicle.
• On the Move: Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day.
• Tech-Savvy Delivery: Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
• Hands-On Work: Lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg), using delivery trolleys when needed.

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

Hours: 30 hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Friday (with weekend availability required)
