Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver for the Coombs Wood area in West Midlands. The role involves sorting and loading at the local office, then delivering letters and parcels by foot and vehicle.

You will use a handheld device for navigation and signatures, and handle mailbags and parcels up to 16kg/20kg. Weekend availability may be required, with a 30-hour weekly expectation.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required (max 6 points; clean preferred).
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and sort at the local delivery office and prepare your vehicle.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and by vehicle, with daily walking up to 8 miles.
• Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
• Lift and carry mailbags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, using trolleys as needed.

Job Title: Postal Delivery Driver

Location: Coombs Wood

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

Hours: Up to 30 Hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Friday (with weekend availability required)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Load & Go: Start your day at the local delivery office sorting and loading your vehicle.
• On the Move: Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day.
• Tech-Savvy Delivery: Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
• Hands-On Work: Lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg), using delivery trolleys when needed.

What We're Looking For:

• A full UK manual driving licence (maximum of 6 points; clean preferred).
• Comfortable working outdoors through rain, shine, or snow.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Previous Driving/ Delivering experience would great (but isn't essential!)
