Job summary

Royal Mail in Hythe is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels across the local area. You'll work on a rotating shift, including some weekends, with a rota confirming hours and routes.

Full training is provided, you'll wear a uniform, and work outdoors in all weather, building relationships with customers while staying active and engaged with the community.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (minimum 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated, with strong organisation and resilience
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently

You'll be required to work a minimum of 1 Sunday at Folkestone Delivery Office.

You'll need:
