Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Driffield to deliver letters and parcels. You will work outdoors in all weather, drive a Royal Mail van daily, and walk long distances as part of your route.

You will join a busy team on a rotating shift, with weekend work and a 30-hour week. Full training and a uniform are provided, plus benefits and pension support as part of Royal Mail's commitment to its people.

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available. Working hours: 30:00 hours per week - working 5days in 7 across Monday - Sunday - 09:30/15:45*

What to expect

About you

We'll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You'll need:

• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
