Job summary

LCP's Post Transaction team in London is seeking an experienced Post Transaction Consultant to support buy‑out and wind‑up transitions for pension schemes. You will collaborate with trustees, sponsors and insurers, steering projects from buy‑in to wind‑up with pragmatic solutions.

Ideal candidates will have UK pensions expertise, strong project management and excellent stakeholder communication, ready to hit the ground running in a hybrid London role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a pensions consulting environment.
• Proven experience of insurer post transaction processes and wind-ups.
• Excellent UK pensions technical knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements around wind-ups.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to develop detailed project plans and drive tasks to completion.
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders including advisers, insurers, trustee boards and sponsoring employers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects assisting schemes from buy-in to buy-out and wind-up.
• Build relationships with clients, advisers and insurers and actively manage projects to timely completion.
• Support clients in moving schemes to wind-up within desired timescales using a collaborative approach.
• Contribute to team strategy and participate in networking events and tenders.
