Job summary

LCP is seeking a Post Transaction Senior Consultant in London to support buy‑in to wind‑up transitions for pension schemes. You will work across trustees and sponsors, ensuring a smooth, well‑governed de‑risking process with insurer involvement and strong project management leadership.

The role requires experience in pensions consulting, know‑how of wind‑ups and the ability to manage client relationships and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pensions consulting environment, or possibly with a bulk annuity provider.
• Proven experience of insurer post transaction processes and wind ups.
• Excellent UK pensions technical knowledge and knowledge of legislative requirements around wind ups.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to develop detailed project plans and drive tasks to timely completion.
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including advisers, insurers, trustee boards and sponsoring employers.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects to assist schemes moving from buy-in to buy-out and wind up.
• Build relationships with clients, advisers and insurers to enable smooth transitions and actively manage the process.
• Utilise project management expertise to support schemes moving to wind up within desired timescales.
• Contribute to wider team strategy and participate in tenders and networking events.
