Job summary

Alexander Lloyd Limited, on behalf of a leading pensions consultancy in London, seeks a Post Transaction Consultant to guide schemes through buy-in, buy-out and wind-up. You will manage complex post-transaction projects, liaise with trustees, sponsors and insurers, and ensure seamless progress.

With 4+ years in pensions consulting, you will bring strong technical knowledge, excellent project management, and outstanding written and verbal communication to support client outcomes and growth.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in pensions consulting or bulk annuity.
• Strong UK pensions knowledge, especially buy-out and wind-up processes.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Here at Alexander Lloyd, we are currently supporting a leading pensions consultancy in seeking a Post Transaction Consultant to join its growing specialist team. This role offers the opportunity to work with trustees, sponsors and insurers, helping pension schemes successfully transition from buy-in through to buy-out and ultimate wind-up.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a range of post-transaction pension projects.
• Build strong relationships with trustees, insurers, sponsoring employers and advisers.
• Coordinate and project manage key activities to ensure transactions progress smoothly and on schedule.
• Identify and resolve issues efficiently while delivering excellent client outcomes.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, client presentations and wider team strategy.
• At least 4 years' experience within pensions consulting or a bulk annuity provider environment.
• Strong technical UK pensions knowledge, particularly around buy-out and wind-up processes.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
