Eden Brown Education is recruiting for a Student Services Officer on behalf of a well-established Further Education College in West Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced student support, welfare, customer service or administration professional to join a busy Student Services team and make a positive impact on students educational journeys. A DBS check is required and the role is temporary full-time, starting asap until end of October.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification or above.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused, student support, welfare or advisory environment.
  • Strong administrative, IT and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or those facing barriers to engagement.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy and discretion.
  • Experience working with databases, spreadsheets and management information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for student enquiries.
  • Provide advice and guidance on student welfare, wellbeing, financial support and support services.
  • Assess and process learner support fund and bursary applications.
  • Support vulnerable students and identify safeguarding concerns, making referrals where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with funding and data protection requirements.
  • Liaise with curriculum teams, support services and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need.
  • Assist at enrolment events, open days and other student-facing activities.

Eden Brown Education is recruiting for a Student Services Officer on behalf of a well-established Further Education College in West Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced student support, welfare, customer service or administration professional to join a busy Student Services team and make a positive impact on students educational journeys.

This is a temporary full time role to start asap until the end of October initially.

As the first point of contact for students, you will provide high-quality information, advice and guidance on a range of topics including wellbeing, financial support, safeguarding, learner support funds and access to college services. You will play a key role in ensuring students receive timely support and are referred to the appropriate internal and external services when required.

Key Responsibilities

Candidates must also have a current DBS
