Job summary

Home Group is recruiting a Positive Behaviour Support Worker (CQC) in Worcestershire to support people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. Salary £27,500 per year, with Health Cash Plan and generous leave.

You will work with the team to implement support plans and promote independence. Ideal candidates have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it, plus experience in complex care and a person-centred approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Complex Care setting.
• Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Flexible, person-centred approach, treating each customer as unique.
• Experience of positive risk management.
• Makaton helpful but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily living, personal care and choices, putting customers' needs first.
• Work with team, clinical colleagues and families to create and follow support plans.
• Recognise strengths and help them take small steps at their pace.
• Use the Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion through person-centred support.
• Spot changes in health or mood, act quickly, and work with others to keep everyone safe.
