Home Group Limited is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Worker (CQC) to help people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs live their best lives. This permanent, full-time role in Halesowen offers a salary of £27,500–£28,300 per year plus a health cash plan and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Complex Care setting and working towards Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care.
• Experience as a Support Worker supporting people with complex needs or behaviours of distress.
• Flexible, person-centred approach, treating each customer as unique and adapting to their needs.
• Experience of positive risk management, ensuring safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
• Makaton is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily living, personal care and choices, putting customers' needs first.
• Work with team, clinical colleagues and families to create and follow support plans.
• Recognise strengths and help individuals take small steps at their own pace.
• Use Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion.
• Spot changes in health or mood, act quickly, and work with others to keep everyone safe.
